Wat later op de ochtend

String orchestra: minimum 6.6.4.3.2.1.

Composed for the Netherlands Youth String Orchestra, I decided to base the piece on a quite innocent bit of music that I wrote when I was 14 years old, and have it slowly transgress into an atonal expressionistic fragment that I composed when I was 17. Since its premiere, the piece showed being highly accessible and has been played often by various string orchestras in the Netherlands and abroad, both amateurs and professionals.
